This video was filmed during the debut concert of Argentine guitarist Diego Romero and Norwegian violinist Karl Espegard in Oslo in October 2019. The instrumental song is composed by Diego Romero, and is dedicated to one of his childhood friends, who always used to call him «Pipito». The Berlin based duo presents an exciting program consisting of traditional Argentine tango, folklore and original compositions.

Diego Romero (1989) is a guitarist and composer from Tandil, Argentina. He has accompanied legendary singers like Adriana Varela and Raúl Lavié, giving numerous appearances on Argentine TV as well as performing in all of his country’s major theaters, including Teatro Colón, Teatro Gran Rex, Centro Cultural Kirchner, and Usina del Arte. Since 2017, Diego has undergone tours in Argentina and Russia with the Argentine dance company Potros Malambo. His first studio album with original compositions, entitled «Para un Comienzo», was released in 2019 on Aqcua Records, Buenos Aires.

Karl Espegard (1983) is a violinist from Drammen, Norway. He has worked at some of Norway’s most prominent theaters such as Det Norske Teatret, Nationaltheatret, and Chat Noir. Karl is a founding member of the international tango ensemble El Muro Tango, with whom he released the album «Nostálgico» in 2018 to great acclaim in the international press. His concert activities have taken him around the world, with performances at festivals such as Oslo Chamber Music Festival and Innsbruck Tango Festival to prestigious concert halls like Amsterdam’s Royal Concertgebouw, Moscow International House of Music, Usina del Arte (Buenos Aires), and Philharmonie im Gasteig (Munich).
